The word "protocol"" is defined as:

• The official procedure or system of rules governing affairs of state or diplomatic occasions.
• A system of rules about the correct way to act in formal situations.
• Allowing for standards that people can adhere to, or refer to, for guiding behaviors.

The site's purpose will be supported by site protocols. Currently, an indirect approach is being undertaken for defining the site's protocols and purpose. This is a creative approach that allows for the most flexibility and the most possibilities. Confusion is a by-product of this approach but this will self-correct as the primary concepts are bedded down.
